There's something in the food at school.
It's some kind of spice,
it tastes really nice.
What it does to you isn't cool.
It makes your mouth hot,
then you're on the pot.

It's salty and red and spicy and good;
they put it on all the more decent food.

I'm allergic to a spice,
some spice; don't know what it is.
It's better on taters or rice
than chicken or turkey or grits.
I love it,
but it hates me.

I watch out to not eat too much.
I have trouble walking,
I have trouble talking.
It seems like I need a crutch.
My stomach starts heaving,
I have trouble breathing.

I know I'm allergic but what should I do?
